Transformational Leadership - Retreat for managers of social work services
26/09/2008 - 28/09/2008 00:00Managing change, positively and effectively, is one of the main challenges facing any manager in social care at this present time. It is a ‘sink or swim situation’ in which competing demands for limited resources have to be reconciled with new and different ways of providing quality services.
This residential weekend at the Global Retreat Centre, Oxfordshire, will give you the opportunity to:
* consider new ways of managing change and supporting yourself and others,
* meet and share with like-minded people,
* explore and re-connect with your inner values
* experience the benefits of meditation
Speakers include:
Richard Barrett - an internationally recognised speaker, author, and consultant on values-based leadership.
Mike George - an author, international management tutor, coach and mentor working with individuals and organisations in 30 countries.
This weekend retreat is organised by a working group of social work professionals and members of the Brahma Kumaris World Spiritual University (UK).
